Leukemia Lymphoma Society`s Mission:

Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for exemplary high school students. During the campaign, we will foster professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in order to raise funds for LLS. The title Student(s) of the Year is awarded to the candidate or co-candidates in each community that raise the most funds during the 7-week competition. This campaign will go from February 13th to April 3rd of 2020!

Our goal is to raise $100,000! With your help and support we believe we can make our dream come true!

We are striving to educate the community about the progress LLS has made and what these funds are going towards! During our campaign we will be hosting a few events to raise money and we would love for you to join us!

​This is Toben our honored hero for our campaign, he is 7 years old and is now in remission from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Toben was diagnosed on August 19, 2016 with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). A new preschooler at 3.5 years old, he was getting sick often but his parents assumed it was a normal preschoolers sharing germs kind of thing. Toben started getting random fevers then leg and arm pains; the pains were so bad that he couldn't walk and would wince when his parents picked him up. The occurrences would last a couple days then he would be back to normal. 

At four years old, his pains became stronger and lasted longer. After many tests, they found out it was leukemia.

Toben completed treatment on November 21, 2019 and took his last chemo pill on December 9, 2019! He is in the second grade and enjoys playing with his little brothers as well as their two dogs, Roxy and Woody. He loves to ride bikes, swim, play laser tag and with water balloons. Toben enjoys doing experiments and exploring the natural world. He wants to be a video game maker when he grows up; his favorite video game is Minecraft!
