Welcome to Carson Jorge's SOY Fundraising Page!

Feb 10, 2020

It is my honor to be participating in a program where selected students in our region are uniting for the same cause, fighting and ultimately eradicating blood cancer.  The critical funds raised will assist a brave patient that is currently battling blood cancer or is in remission.  For every vote there is a dollor to support the research and advancement of creating a cancer free world.  While the primary mission is to raise as much money as possible, we are hoping to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia.  It takes a team to assist in changing the face of blood cancer and the decision to be involved with such a meaningful cause was easy knowing how important and wide sweeping the impact is.  Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.  We also know that the research and changes made as a result have impacted research and solutions to assist with all types of cancer making the reason for my commitment and your participation even more important.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.

Please visit our website and encourage others that are passionate about helping people and minimizing the devastating effects of cancer!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
