Cancer Is Not Cancelled and Neither Are We!
While LLS continues to monitor national and local developments, our highest priorities remain the well-being of our participants, teammates, staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and the patients we serve – especially as many blood cancer patients are immunocompromised.
For this reason, our organization has decided to transition all events through Labor Day of 2021 to a virtual format. This means that we have had to make a choice on the calendar placement of the 2021 Scenic Shore. We have made the decision to hold the Scenic Shore 150 on September 18-19, 2021. At this point, we are planning an in-person event. In the chance that we do need to change to virtual or an alternative plan, we will keep the dates the same- September 18-19, 2021

All LLS staff are working from home. We remain open for business, but our physical offices are closed.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is carefully monitoring the impact of Covid-19 in our community, as well as other local events and organizations to evaluate our plans and act in a timely and responsible way, and making changes to its schedule of events as warranted. Our first priority is the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and all members of the public in our fundraising and mission events.Thus, we have made the decision to not hold an in-person event for this year’s Scenic Shore Bike Tour.
Cancer is not cancelled and neither are we! We may not be able to be all together this year, but our fundraising and fun will continue. The decision to change the scope was not an easy one, and we apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. We want to assure you that as we are dedicated to producing an amazing experience as we roll out our adapted version for 2020-See Your Own Shore 150! September 6th - September 12th, 2020.
We will continue to plan for an inspiring event that brings together friends, family and colleagues to raise critical funds for blood cancer research and patient education and support.The “See Your Own Shore” will bring together all of your favorite things about Scenic Shore: Riding your bike, fun along the “shore”, compelling mission components, and fun fundraising incentives.
