This is Izzy Laidly and Lauren Hoyle's team fundraising page. We are running for 2020 Students of the Year as co-candidates. Our team name is Team Smiles for a Cure because we want to support the fight to cure cancer with a positive attitude. Both of our moms have been diagnosed with breast cancer so we have first-hand experience with the hardships of cancer. Furthermore, Izzy's Grandma lost her battle to blood cancer in 2014. We now want to raise money for others who struggle with cancer because we know how much that extra support was needed during those tough times.
