In one way or another, people all around the world have been personally affected by cancer. I have watched people close to my heart struggle with the loss of loved ones and the effects this illness has on our community. This personally has inspired me to join the fight against cancer.

I have teamed up with Student Visionaries of the Year, a campaign by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  This group has brought together students in honor of raising money to help fight blood-borne cancers. My team's name is Answer for Cancer and all of the teams compete for seven weeks to raise the most amount of money for LLS. My goal this year is $1000 and the campaign dates are January 26th to March 15th.

The donations are used by LLS to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients.
