Dearest family and friends, 

I am so excited to announce that I have been nominated to be a student visionary for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of the 2022-2023 school year. This is a 7 week campaign that starts January 11th and ends on March 3rd. The programs main objective is to allow high school students, like myself, be able to experience competitive fundraising along with other students for the ultimate cause of raising funds for blood cancer research, advocacy, and patient care.

Alongside my teammates Zoe Gozdz, and Emily Lindstrom, we have set a goal of $30,000, in hopes of being able to make a huge impact on researching a cure for blood cancer. This program is super important to me because of the lives of relatives and close friends I’ve seen heavily impacted because of different blood cancers. My main goal is to make a difference among the lives of families and individuals who experience the stuggles of cancer, and help fund the research needed to cure them.  

Over a million Americans are diagnosed with blood cancer, and every three minutes one person is diagnosed with Leukemia or Lymphoma. With these statistics in mind, it has further pushed my teammates and I to want to make a difference. With the help of you, this is possible. Every dollar I raise with my team goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society to support blood cancer research. Any donation is very appreciated.
