The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is carefully monitoring the impact of Covid-19 in our community, as well as other local events and organizations to evaluate our plans and act in a timely and responsible way, and making changes to its schedule of events as warranted. Our first priority is the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and all members of the public in our fundraising and mission events.Thus, we have made the decision to not hold an in-person event for this year’s Scenic Shore Bike Tour.

Cancer is not cancelled and neither are we! We may not be able to be all together this year, but our fundraising and fun will continue.

The decision to change the scope was not an easy one, and we apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. As a valued and dedicated Scenic Shore volunteer, we want to assure you that as we are dedicated to producing an amazing experience as we roll out our adapted version for 2020-See Your Own Shore 150!

We will continue to plan for an inspiring event that brings together friends, family and colleagues to raise critical funds for blood cancer research and patient education and support.

The “See Your Own Shore” will bring together all of your favorite things about Scenic Shore: Riding your bike, fun along the “shore”, compelling mission components, and fun fundraising incentives. We encourage all of our volunteers to register for the new See Your Own Shore experience. This is your chance to get in on the fun and participate as rider! You can chose to ride, run, walk, swim or even drive!

Registration is free and there is no minimum fundraising. You may register at www.scenicshore150.org using the same email and password you used to register as a volunteer.

We will be hosting several See Your Own Shore info sessions in the near future. They will be hosted on Zoom and all riders will be invited and encouraged to attend.
