2020 Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour
Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
This is my 11th year with LLS - and I continue to ride in memory of my amazing Dad. My dad, Bruce, was a Vietnam Veteran who was diagnosed with Leukemia (CLL) due to Agent Orange exposure. After several rounds of chemo, and years of disease progression, he passed away from leukemia complications in 2012. During his treatment, he always commented on how "lucky" he was to have all his treatment covered by the VA because he saw the bills and was shocked by the cost - and wondered aloud how anyone can afford treatment.
And that's why I ride. Donations not only support LLS research but also patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
I'm excited to ride in my 5th Scenic Shore 150 - which is a beautiful 150-mile ride over two days along the lakeshore from Mequon to Sturgeon Bay. (This will be my 10th event with LLS.) Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, and more than 100 riders on Team Lymphomaniacs, I thank you for your support!
