I'm part of a local team that likes to bike long distance events in order to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Don't get me wrong, I think biking 150 miles is quite difficult and painful, but my great aunt is a Lymphoma survivor, so this is a cause that is very close to my heart. Unfortunately, it impacts WAY TOO MANY people--every four minutes a person is diagnosed with some type of blood cancer such as Leukemia or Lymphoma. The mission of LLS is: Cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and Myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
In order to help support this mission, I am riding 150 miles over 2 days in July 2020; the ride is aptly named Scenic Shore, along the shore of Lake Michigan from Milwaukee to Door County. I've also committed to raising over $1,000 for LLS and would like to ask for your help.
