Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
We all know that these are interesting times dealing with COVID 19. More than ever these fund raising efforts need all of our support and generosity.
From the previous years of doing this 150 mile ride, everyone rode at the same time. Due to COVID 19, the ride has been changed to an individual ride or small safe group ride with each group picking the date and routes they want to ride. However, the needed fund raising has not changed and your support is needed. So I want to continue supporting this great cause with your help.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Special Events raise funds to find better treatments and cures for blood cancers so patients can live better, longer lives. I'm asking you to help by making a tax-deductible contribution! You will receive an email confirmation of your donation as soon as it is made. I thank you in advance for your support which will make a difference in the lives of thousands of patients battling blood cancers. I really appreciate your generosity!!
My Leukemia & Lymphoma fundraising ride this year is with my twin brother. My Twin brother and I are riding 62 miles as a tribute to my Mother, who passed away just short of turning 62 years old. Ironically, my twin brother and I turned 62 years old (yes, that old) this year and thought it would be fitting to honor her. I dug through old photos and found some with my mom biking – see attached.
We are going to finish our 62 miles in Cedar Grove at my mother’s final resting place and put some flowers at her grave.
My brother and I will be riding Saturday, July 25th, we are asking for your support.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
