As of February 2025, the prices of essential goods and services in the United States have seen significant increases. The average price of a dozen Grade A eggs has reached a record high of $4.95. Gasoline prices have also risen, with the national average for regular gasoline at approximately $3.14 per gallon. Other goods and services, such as groceries and utilities, have similarly experienced price hikes. These rising costs have put a strain on household budgets (including mine), making it more challenging for many families to manage their expenses.

Despite these economic challenges, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and other organizations can still use our support. I am participating in the 2025 Firefighter Stair Climb Challenge, where firefighters from around the world climb the stairs of Seattle’s Columbia Center to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient support. Your donations can make a significant impact in the fight against blood cancer. Every dollar raised helps fund lifesaving research, provide free resources for patients and their families, and advocate for better healthcare policies. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancer. I am deeply grateful for your support and understanding during these challenging times. Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
