After 9 years in remission, Sherry's leukemia came back in June, 2017. She went to battle for the second time and got just over a year more. At the end of July, 2018 her leukemia came back with a vengeance. Her white blood cell count was increasing so fast that the doctors could not do anything for it. She went home to be on hospice and peacefully passed away on August 5th with her daughter at her side.
Sherry was helped in so many ways by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society over the last 10 years. She believed in giving back and her family believes that she would prefer donations to this amazing organization over flowers being sent. Thank you in advance for any donation that you make. Every little bit makes a difference!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
