Here are just a few of the ways your partnership is already making a big impact for patients and families:
- Donor partnership helped launch the Dare to Dream Project, which is bringing new, safer treatments to kids. A cornerstone of the Dare to Dream Project, the PedAL Master Clinical Trial was launched after three years of intensive work and commitment from partners who helped us realize an ambitious vision to fundamentally change treatment and care for children with blood cancer. The generosity of donors has been instrumental in this initiative to irradicate long-term side effects in children that can have an impact on survivors for decades or even a lifetime.
- As part of our shared commitment to health equity, generous individuals helped us expand Myeloma Link and the IMPACT research program. These efforts are just two of the innovative ways LLS and our donors are reaching patients in some of the most rural and underserved communities across the country. The generosity of LLS supporters makes it possible for patients and families to access treatment, creating greater equity in care.
- In 2021 in the Red River Region (North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas) we served 2,382 patients with a total of $14,091,550 in patient aid and served 3,520 families with educational resources and support.
