Since 2004, IHOP and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) have been partnering for IHOP FREE Pancake Day in the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the last 14 years together we have raised more than $3.2 million for blood cancer patients. This year we have set our goal to raise $650,000 during the National Pancake Day campaign! We are so grateful for IHOP's support in our mission to end all blood cancers.
IHOP's support goes a long way in helping fund research for ground-breaking treatments in blood cancers along with supporting patient access programs. These patient access and resarch programs help patients just like our 2019 Honored Hero, Brooks!
Brooks is our Honored Hero for IHOP FREE Pancake Day this year! He is a B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) survivor and is in remission. However, he’s still currently in treatment for his specific type of cancer. Despite all of that, none of it keeps Brooks down! Brooks’ mom describes him as a crafting maniac and he loves to play with his big brother, Max. His family has said, “We are grateful for the devoted attention LLS gives to finding a cure. We know it is their dedication that has improved the course of care for Brooks and helps to ensure his future.” Thanks to partners like IHOP, LLS can continue to raise funds to help beat blood cancers!
With yours and IHOP's support we can continue to help many more patients just like Brooks. We hope that you'll help us reach our $650,000 goal for IHOP FREE Pancake Day by either donating now or visiting a local IHOP near you!
Meet Brooks! Here's a photo of him attending one of our annual Light The Night walks!
