We're usually not that serious..
The Gooners Podcast likes to have fun - we love talking about the Arsenal, speaking with interesting guests, and having a laugh about the game and the club we all love.
But every once in a while...
It's important to be serious for a moment. And this is it – for the third consecutive year, The Gooners Podcast is proud to announce its Gooners Vs. Cancer fundraiser, raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), who affects change world wide by supporting the development of new treatments and providing support to patients and their families. The cause is near and dear to us as leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancers have taken and affected the lives of so many of our relatives and those of our extended Gooner Family.
Henry, a 17-year old Arsenal fan, suffering from leukemia and complications from a bone marrow transplant had the day of his life when the Arsenal Developmnt Team, in town for just a week, brought him swag and words of support while a patient at Children's National Hospital in D.C. Sadly Henry died just 3 months later. We can help LLS do better for those battling cancer. Please make a donation today.
We Need Your Help!
We know how generous and charitable Gooners around the world can be, the desire to do good for people is something that makes the Arsenal fanbase a truly special group of people. Last year, with the help of individuals and supporters groups we raised $4,250, smashing our modest goals. This year, we are shooting for a massive growth to $7,500 in funds raised!
