Dear Friends,
On June 19, 2016, we will be holding our 22nd annual Tour de Court. In conjunction with this event, we are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma from taking more lives. For several years now, we have chosen this cause in honor of Rachel Minkove, who valiantly battled Hodgkin's lymphoma. Rachel may have left us physically in 2012, but her memory and fighting spirit lives on through this tournament.
Through everyone’s generosity, we are pleased to share that we raised more than $35,000 for last year's tour and have now raised over $100,000 cumulatively. These funds have been earmarked for a Hodgkin's Lymphoma Research Portfolio that has been established in Rachel’s memory. The portfolio, listed in this year’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Annual Report as “Baltimore Tour de Court in memory of Rachel Minkove,” funds a wide range of research, including lab/bench, patient bedside, basic biology, translational research, and clinical trials.
