Meet Pierce from Merced, CA
Pierce Kelly was diagnosed with a rare subtype of Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 2. Pierce needed two rounds of chemo and a bone transplant. After 115 days and a successful bone marrow transplant at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Pierce showed no signs of cancer and was able to go home in August of 2017. He currently resides in Thousand Oaks, California with his mother Aubrey, father Tyler, and his sisters Sierra and Harper. Pierce enjoys being a kid and fought hard against his cancer diagnosis and was nicknamed “Fierce Pierce.” Pierce currently serves as the 2019 Man and Woman of the Year Los Angeles’ Boy of the Year.
