HUNT FOR A CURE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 2021!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is carefully monitoring the coronavirus situation in our community, as well as other local events and organizations to evaluate our plans and act in a timely and responsible way, and making changes to its schedule of events as warranted. Our first priority is the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and all members of the public in our fundraising and mission events. Thus, we have made the decision to postpone Hunt for a Cure until April 2021.
This decision to postpone was not an easy one, and we apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. We want to assure you that we will continue to monitor the CDC website, and adhere to national government and local health official guidance. We encourage you to stay informed, as well: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/specific-groups/guidance-business-response.html?
In the meantime, it’s business as usual, and we will continue to raise critical funds for blood cancer research and patient education and support. Below are a couple of key things to know moving forward for anyone who purchased a family pass or other item:
- We value you and your support and want you to be able to experience Hunt for a Cure, therefore, we will carry your registration fee over to 2021. We will notify you of the new dates as soon as it is confirmed.
- If you change your mind about participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Hunt for a Cure, we are happy to honor your decision and will refund your registration fee.
- To request a refund, you can either call 1-888-LLS-7177 to talk to a customer service representative, or email SupportServices@lls.org. Refunds will be issued as a credit to the credit card used for the original registration transaction.
- Please email kay.turner@lls.org, or call (314) 590-2245 with specific questions. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to seeing you at Hunt 2021.
