Bailey's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 18, 2021

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, welcome!

Everyone has their own connection to cancer, their cancer story if you will. I’m Bailey Koewing, a senior at Southlake Carroll and my cancer story started in fall of 2007. I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at the age of four. I would be in treatment for two years two months and two days before going into remission in December of 2009. Since then I have used my experience to help as many people as possible. Some of my efforts have included raising money for the American Cancer Society for over ten years, giving speeches on behalf of the American Cancer Society at both national and regional events, and even working with leukemia specific organizations such as Leukemia Texas and leukemia endowment funds. This year I have been nominated for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year where I am competing to raise the most money out of many high school students across the metroplex with similar passions in a seven week long campaign. I appreciate any and all support in this journey as I continue to fight for an end to this disease that affects any and everyone.

I encourage you to join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. My appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families.

Please visit my website as often as you can and share it with everyone you know who would also like to join us in the fight against cancer. Together, we have the power, the passion and the resolve to achieve a world without blood cancer. All donations are tax-deductible.

On behalf of cancer patients and their families everywhere, I sincerely thank you for your support!

I am happy to support Bailey in her effort to draw attention to the sometimes grave consequences of childhood cancers. My daughter was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor when she was eighteen and did not survive her illness.
