Welcome to the Gators Beat Blood Cancer Team Fundraising Page!!

Thank you for supporting our campaign to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). We are honored to be participating in the 2023 Students Visionaries of the Year (SVOY) campaign, representing Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. This legacy team was founded in 2018 in honor of an SR alum, Meaghan Kilner, who was diagnosed during her freshman year (2017) with Hodgkin's lymphoma. She finished treatment in 2019 and has been in remission for 5 years now!! We are so excited to continue the legacy of the Gators Beat Blood Cancer team as we work to break last year’s total, raising over $260,000 for blood cancer research.

Our campaign is a seven-week initiative in which high school students from around the country are nominated to participate in a fundraising competition to benefit LLS’s mission: to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been affected by blood cancer and or have even witnessed it firsthand. We hope that you will join us in this fight to help all of those who are going through those same experiences. 

Thanks to your support, our efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives, and will help many generations to come. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
