Sara's Students of the Year Fundraiser
To everyone who has donated,
Thank you so much for donating to my Student of the Year fundraising campaign! I appreciate all of your support during this endeavor and I am so blessed to have you all in my life. Your donations are going to people who need help the most, and to all the families impacted by blood cancer.
My team and I are so close to hitting our goal, and we could not have done it without you all.
THANK YOU!

Basket Bingo
Hi, everyone!
I wanted to update you all on an amazing project that my team has been working on! For the past three months, we have been planning a basket bingo. We currently have about 19 baskets that have been donated to us (shoutout to all the amazing people who donated to our bingo) and we have a huge variety of themes- including winter-themed, baking, and even a super cool movie night basket!
Our bingo will take place on March 5th at the St. Philip Neri Parish Gym in Linthicum. Doors will open at 6 and bingo will begin at 7! Food and baked goods will be available for purchase, as will "chance to win" tickets.
100% of the money we make will go to our Student of the Year campaign, which will help so many people. For more information, check out the flyer that is posted on this page!
Peace,
Sara Horton
Sara's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Hi, everyone!
Welcome to my LLS fundraising page!
This year I have signed up to be a member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Students of the Year Campaign! I am so excited to take on this challenge, as the mission of LLS (to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families) is very dear to my heart.
I have two major reasons why I have decided to partake in this campaign. The first being that during the summer of 2021, my friend lost her brother to Leukemia. Her brother was loved by everyone that had met him, and even people who had simply just heard his story. Patrick was a kind soul, a great brother, and an amazing person. Secondly, a family friend's daughter, Zoey, just recently won her battle with Leukemia.
LLS works with cancer patients to provide transportation to treatments, funds more than 60% of the therapies being used to treat various forms of cancer, and has invested nearly 1.3 billion dollars in groundbreaking research since 1949.
I am so excited that my team and I will be working together to raise money for LLS, but I am even more excited to know that our fundraising will be helping people in need.
