Samantha, Hannah and LeeAnn's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Spark'l Bands in San Luis Obispo has graciously offered to support our campaign!
They are supporting the “Team Cancer Kickers” in their effort to raise our goal of $30,000 dollars for LLS in only seven weeks! They want to spread awareness about this organization and it’s goals to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families.
With the Hearts for a Cure band, they will be donating a portion of proceeds to LLS and helping us in our mission to gather support!
This band is beautiful on it’s own, and even better because it does good
You can purchase our bands HERE! And follow Spark'l Bands on Instgram @sparklbands
Samantha, Hannah and LeeAnn's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Dear Friends and Family,
Our Team The Cancer Kickers have been nominated to participate in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Students of the Year Campaign for 2021. We are wishing to raise awareness of this organization and its mission to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families, as it’s our job as citizens of the world to help as many humans as possible!
This year, we have been given the honor of working with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) on its Students of the Year fundraising campaign from March 23 - May 14th. The Students of the Year Campaign is a program which allows high school students throughout the USA to take on leadership roles in hopes of raising awareness for blood cancer research and patient support. We are honored to be able to participate in this campaign as team! Together Samantha, Hannah and LeeAnn we are “Team Cancer Kickers” with the goal of raising a minimum of $30,000 for LLS, in just 7 weeks!
"In 2019, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Her treatment and surgeries lasted for a year. During that time it was very emotional and stressful for our family. By joining this cause I want to bring awareness and support to people who are going through the same thing."
"My Family has experienced a loss caused by cancer, my mom lost her cousin, Tiffany at the young age of 8, forty years ago to Leukemia due to the technology not being available to perform a lifesaving bone marrow
transplant safely, costing her, her life. I feel so blessed that I am able to be a part of such a worthy cause today in memory of Tiffany."
"Some of my closest friends and family have been diagnosed with cancers like Melanoma and Breast cancer, so like many of you, I have witnessed first-hand the debilitating effects that cancers can have on those who suffer from them, and on the friends and family who care for and nurture their loved ones."
You can donate to our campaing here on our fundraising page with Credit Card or Venmo if you on are a mobile device!
Checks can be made out to: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with “Cancer Kickers” in the memo section and sent to us at 6080 Pebble Beach Way, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. The deadline for receiving contributions via mail, or via the online link, is May 14, 2021. Thank you so much for supporting me in this fundraising opportunity to assist The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in efforts to create a better and hopeful future.
Sincerely,
The Cancer Kickers!
