Hannah's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Dear Friends and Family,
My team and I are wishing to raise awareness of leukemia and lymphoma, as both of these affect so many people, it’s our job as citizens of the world to help as many humans as possible.
This year, I have been given the honor of working with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) on its Students of the Year fundraising campaign, which allows high school students to take on leadership roles in hopes of raising awareness for blood cancers. I am honored to be able to participate in this campaign, along with my friends, LeeAnn Moore and Samantha Ross, who are also high school students. Together we are “Team Cancer Kickers” with the goal of raising a minimum of $30,000 for LLS.
My Family has experienced a loss caused by cancer, my mom lost her cousin, Tiffany at the young age of 8, forty years ago to Leukemia due to the technology not being available to perform a lifesaving bone marrow
transplant safely, costing her, her life. I feel so blessed that I am able to be a part of such a worthy cause today in memory of Tiffany."
You can donate online, here on my personal fundraising page.
Or, checks can be made out to: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with “Hannah Gill” or "Cancer Kickers" in the memo section and sent to me at 6080 Pebble Beach Way, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. The deadline for receiving contributions via mail, or via the online link, is May 14, 2021. Thank you so much for supporting me in this fundraising opportunity to assist The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in efforts to create a better and hopeful future.
Sincerely,
Hannah Gill
