Faith Dalton here!  You probably know me as Brett and Shawna Dalton’s youngest daughter. I am very excited to announce that I am leading a team called "Dad Jokes 4 A Cure" to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Each year, student candidates engage in a philanthropic competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Student of the Year" title. This year I am one of those candidates! With the help of my 7 teammates, my team hopes to raise $50,000 over a 7-week campaign, February 9^th, 2023 to March 31,Through corporate sponsorships, personal donations, and Charity Buzz’s unique auctions, we know we can meet our goal.

Why Faith decided to run for Student of the Year? In May of 2006, I joined this world and in June 2006, my dad, Brett Dalton, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  This changed everything for my family and was a very difficult time for all of us. Thankfully my dad was extremely receptive to his treatment and today is 16 years in remission!!! If it weren’t for the support from our friends and family, and the treatments my dad received, I don’t know what would have happened.  That is why I am raising money, to prevent that “what if?” from ever becoming someone’s “what now?”
