Faith Dalton | Dad Jokes 4 A Cure
Faith's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Faith Dalton here! You probably know me as Brett and Shawna Dalton’s youngest daughter. I am very excited to announce that I am leading a team called "Dad Jokes 4 A Cure" to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Each year, student candidates engage in a philanthropic competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Student of the Year" title. This year I am one of those candidates! With the help of my 7 teammates, my team hopes to raise $50,000 over a 7-week campaign, February 9th, 2023 to March 31,Through corporate sponsorships, personal donations, and Charity Buzz’s unique auctions, we know we can meet our goal.
Why Faith decided to run for Student of the Year? In May of 2006, I joined this world and in June 2006, my dad, Brett Dalton, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This changed everything for my family and was a very difficult time for all of us. Thankfully my dad was extremely receptive to his treatment and today is 16 years in remission!!! If it weren’t for the support from our friends and family, and the treatments my dad received, I don’t know what would have happened. That is why I am raising money, to prevent that “what if?” from ever becoming someone’s “what now?”
This is how you can help me! Make a tax-deductible donation by going online to my fundraising page: https://events.lls.org/calso/svoygc23/fdalton. If you would prefer to mail your donation, you can donate to our campaign by writing a check made out to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) with Dad Jokes 4 A Cure in the memo and send it to 9420 Reseda blvd suite 401 Northridge ,CA 91323 .The deadline for receiving contributions in the mail is March 31st, 2023.
You can also help me raise funds by inviting your friends, family, and everyone in your networks to join us by making a donation. Aside from donations, we would love to hear from you or someone you know who would be willing to donate goods or services for auction items, and sponsorships, for our Grand Finale on March 31st, or other possible fundraising opportunities. Large or small, your contribution to this worthy effort will be greatly appreciated.

Dad jokes are the best! Faith, thank you for all your efforts. I am so grateful that your dad is a survivor and still cracking ‘em.
Faith, I’m still on the fence about how funny your pop is, but as a fellow girl dad, I think it’s great what you’re doing and have no doubt you’ll surpass your teams goal! Great job kid! Craig Tufeld
