Mayze's Students of the Year Fundraiser
My son Mayze is leading the BondsStrong Team for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - Student of The Year Campaign #soy2021. This is a 7-week journey starting January 14 - March 6, 2021. Mayze and his team would appreciate your support by making a donation in any amount. The team is honoring their St. Francis High School Football Coach Jim Bonds who lost his fight to cancer this past October as well as other dear friends and family. Coach Bonds always taught the guys to go Strong All 4 Quarters! They are now going Strong for him! Your SUPPORT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED #bondsstrong#stfhs #soy2021 Link on my bio pagehttps://events.lls.org/calso/lasoy21/mbryant
Mayze's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Dear Family & Friends,
I am very excited to announce that I have been selected as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student of the Year campaign. My campaign starts on Thursday January 14th, which is the official kick off for my 7 week journey to help find a cure for cancer.
BONDSSTRONG, my fundraising team, and I have great hope for this cause. Together with your help and support, we are looking forward to raising funds for this monumental cause .
My motivation for participating in this impactful campaign, stems from the recent passing of my high school football coach, Jim Bonds. Jim Bonds, whom my teammates and I affectionately call “Coach,” passed away this past October 28th from Multiple Myeloma Cancer. He played such a huge role in my life and taught me many things that I will carry forward throughout my life. I also have many other family members and family friends that have and have had numerous types of blood cancer. It would feel very uplifting to know that I made a difference in someone’s life and possibly saved someone’s life. This is my duty - this is my cause.
For my team’s motto, I chose “All 4 Quarters”. Coach Bonds always taught me and my teammates to fight for all four quarters of a game, no matter the circumstances. He fought for his life for months and that alone was the greatest example of resilience.
This campaign has been changing and saving lives for years. Over 20,000 people pass away every year from blood cancers. With your help, we could change the world and most importantly SAVE LIVES.
This is how you can help me! Make a tax deductible donation by writing a check made payable to “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society SOY Mayze Bryant or go online to my fundraising page: https://events.lls.org/calso/lasoy21/mbryant
You can also help me raise funds by inviting your friends, family and everyone in your networks to join us by making a donation. Aside from donations, we would love to hear from you or someone you know who would be willing to donate goods or services for auction items, and sponsorships, for our Virtual Grand Finale on Saturday March 6th, or other possible fundraising opportunities. Please note: your donations are tax deductible. Large or small, your contribution to this worthy effort will be greatly appreciated.
I would deeply appreciate it if you would donate to this cause so we can compete “All 4 Quarters” and make a difference.
