Brennan Dragomer | Touchdown For a Cure

Brennan's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Mar 06, 2021

Today is the last day of fundraising for team Touchdown For A Cure! We are so close to our goal of $50,000 for cancer research.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone's support in getting us to where we are in our campaign.  It's humbling to hear stories of how cancer has affected their families. It makes $50,000 seem like not enough. It makes you want to raise millions.

There are only hours left in our campaign and my team will fight for cancer until the end. By sharing my link you are supporting our campaign but you are also a part of the quest to find a cure.

Please share my campaign page link. Any amount of support helps the fight to end cancer.

Grateful,

Brennan Dragomer

This Challenge represents the 58 (out of 68) FDA approved treatments since 2017.

Dear Supporters & Friends,

Our Students of the Year campaign is almost at the halfway mark – TODAY is a very special day for our campaign. February 4th is World Cancer Day. On this day, people all over the world will be raising awareness for the fight against cancer. My team and I are so proud to be a part of what LLS is doing to fight blood cancers.

We have made great progress towards our goal of raising $50,000 but we still have work to do before the Grand Finale on March 6th. If you have already donated, I'm very grateful. THANK YOU! We are all fortunate to have everyone's support during these times!

We hope that you’d consider sharing our fundraising link via email or social media with your contacts in honor of World Cancer Day!

If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, TODAY is the perfect day! Your support will help more than 1.2 million Americans battling leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease or myeloma, but also supports research to find the cure. LLS is committed to making a cure possible because fighting cancer is in our blood. You can be a part of this worthy cause! This short video serves as a reminder as to why your support matters!

Donations are tax-deductible and take just a few minutes via my personal fundraising page.

On behalf of our team Touchdown For A Cure, thank you for your support! Especially on World Cancer Day, you’re making a difference for cancer patients and their families.

Sincerely,

Brennan Dragomer

P.S. Please feel free to spread the word. We need all the help we can get. Find out if your company has a matching gifts program.

Brennan's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 13, 2021

Dear Friends and Family,

I’ve decided to start 2021 off with optimism. I am honored to share with you that I was nominated as a 2021 Students of the Year candidate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a Student of the Year candidate, I am collaborating with a group of highly motivated and committed friends to create our fundraising team--”Touchdown for a Cure!

What inspired me? My sister, Haven, started this legacy of philanthropy for LLS back in 2018. I was a member of her team that raised $50,000 in honor of the Ryan Family. Sadly, the Ryan family lost their father, Andrew Ryan, but we’re so fortunate to have their brother, Cory, and grandmother, Maurine (now in her 90s), survive. In 2019, I joined Mackenzie Aladjem’s campaign to honor her vibrant, young uncle Reed Givner who tragically passed at 17 years old. In 2019, I started at Notre Dame high school and was saddened to learn that legendary football Coach Kevin Rooney also lost his dear wife, Maureen, to Leukemia in 2018.

Before Andrew Ryan’s passing, he said, “Friends, it’s not how long you live, but how well you live.” His compelling words spoke to me. I will “live well” by serving others. For 2021, my campaign will also honor an adorable seven-year-old, Bella Toma, LLS’s Honorary Hero. She’s a spunky, kind, and charming leukemia survivor who needs our continued support.

On January 14th, we will be launching our seven-week long campaign. My team will raise awareness and money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Over that time, we will be reaching out to corporations, family, and friends to fundraise for this fantastic cause. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000! If we reach our goal, we will be able to link our team Touchdown For A Cure to an LLS-funded research portfolio, and it would be in honor of the Ryan Family, Reed Givner, Maureen Rooney, Bella Toma and those honored by my teammates.

Blood cancer research is the solution to finding a cure. I want my team Touchdown for a Cure to be a part of the fight. LLS’s mission to cure these diseases and fund life-saving research has inspired me to take part in this battle against cancer. I invite you to join my fight to save lives. Let’s conquer cancer together!
