Welcome To My Fundraising Page!!

My name is Vaun and I am a student at Pittsburgh CAPA. I have been given the amazing
opportunity to be a part of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Students of the
The year 2021 Campaign. This is a seven-week fundraising competition to raise money in
support of LLS starting February 5th, 2021 - March 26th, 2021. I have formed Team Rising
Phoenix along with my friends and family. I chose this name because phoenixes rise from
the ashes and if we work together we can continue to rise up against blood cancer. I will
be working to help raise the funds necessary to benefit those who need them. I am asking
my friends and family to help us assist the efforts of the LLS to find a cure for blood
cancer. Not only is LLS helping patients with blood cancers, but LLS is going beyond blood
cancer by funding more than 60% of the blood cancer therapies being used to treat other
cancers.
