We are honored to be nominated as candidates for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s 2020 Students of the Year campaign.  We are joining LLS in their mission to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. This year’s campaign is inspired by the local Boy and Girl of the Year, Pirlo Garcia (age 3) and Malaun Broome (age 5).

Our team mission is to fight this battle for the children.  Blood cancer does not discriminate; it picks men, women and children, old and young alike.  Our team, Amica, is honored and humbled to team up with LLS in their fight against this disease. 

As you cast your “votes” and help us reach our aggressive team goal, please also consider the following impacts your tax deductible donation will make:

• $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.
• $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for cures.
• $1,000 makes possible one-on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.
