Support LLS by Donating Now!
Dear Friends and Family,
I am excited to have the opportunity of a lifetime to make a difference in our community by running for the 2020 Students of the Year program, an initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Together, with my team: Team CUREage, I will be working very hard to raise thousands of dollars that will go dirctly to the LLS in support of its mission to cure blood cancer and improve the life of all cancer patients.
I decided to partipate in this campaign due to the fact that my uncle passed away from pancreatic cancer. In addition, both my grandmother and grandfather are cancer survivors. Did you know that 40% of all cancer treatments were initially tested for blood cancers? Once I learned that blood cancer reserach leads to treatments for many types of cancers, I had my mind set on participating.
Becasue of generous people like you, LLS is able to reach out beyond blood cancers. LLS are leaders in advancing breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine. This research saves lives! These revolutionary new treatments, originally discovered through blood cancer research, show promise for treating other cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers.
Please click "Donate Now" to make a tax deductible donation. Or you can mail a check payable to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (please write SOY Ryan Rose in the memo line) to me at 121 Golfview Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. All donations are greatly appreciated! They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate! Don't forget to request a matching donation if your ccompany matches!
Almost everyone has a connection to cancer in some way, and I strongly believe that no person or family should ever have to experience this challenging disease.
