Hi Everyone!!! We are Team Here For The Cure, a Middleton High School student-led team for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 2025 Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign.

We are led by Stella Ryan, Abi Johannsen, and Sarah Li, three juniors at MHS, and our team is made up of committed friends from both Middleton High School and Edgewood High School.

This year, our fundraising goal is $50,000!! Yes, this seems like a huge goal, but we know we can achieve this with your help!!  

All of the money we raise throughout this 7-week campaign will go towards funding blood cancer research (one of LLS's mission pillars). We selected research as our mission pillar, because we have seen first-hand the effects of families who have gone through cancer, including blood cancer.

We want to do everything in our power to ensure that no family will ever have to go through losing a loved one to cancer, and to help fund research towards a cure, in hopes of creating a world without blood cancer!! 

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

This year, we are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
