Chloe Lee | Team Care Bears
Welcome to Chloe Lee's SOY Fundraising Page!
Hello! We are excited to tell everyone about our teddy bear project, which is the reason we are Team Care Bears! We are offering a sponsorship of bears to any one who is inte rested. This means that if you give $150, we will donate a stuffed animal and treats to a child fighting cancer in your name. The money will not only help them by providing them something to bring them joy and keep them company throughout their battle, but it will be helping them by fighting to end their disease through funding blood cancer research and providing an improved quality of life for patients. Please let me know if there is a location you know where we could spread the word about the bears, and if you yourself would be interested in sponsoring one! My 21clee@ga.usmk12.org. Thanks so much!
T-Shirts
Hi everyone! Here is the link to our t-shirt campaign. Every dollar our team makes from the products will be going to LLS from our campaign. Standard orange t-shirts are $20, and there are many other options and colors, as well, including hoodies, long-sleeves, ladies' t-shirts, and crewneck sweatshirts. The t-shirts are also great if your kids or kids you know would like to help contribute to the campaign! Thank you so much in supporting our mission of fighting towards the goal of finding the cure for blood cancer and supporting the lives of the patients.

Welcome to Chloe Lee's SOY Fundraising Page!
I am honored to be participating in “Students of the Year - Milwaukee”, a seven-week-long program among teams in the greater Milwaukee area in which high school students compete to see who can fundraise the highest amount for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The money raised goes towards research for leukemia and lymphoma, and it provides support and information for patients and their families. The initiative also serves in raising awareness for blood cancers, the most common type of cancers for youth to have. The winner of the competition is named Student of the Year, with each dollar raised representing a vote. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been supporting blood cancer patients and changing the face of blood cancer since the 1960s.
When I first heard about this campaign in October, I knew right away that I wanted to do it. My family and I, just as most others have, have several loved ones who have battled cancer, and we know how heartbreaking and terrible the effect can be to both the patients and their loved ones. While we offer hope, love, and support, it is crushing to know that there is not much else that we can do to change the conditions they are in. That is why when I found out about this mission, I knew I had to take part in it. I believe it is our duty to help people in any way we can, in any way that can make a difference.
My mom informed me a few days ago that unfortunately, one of my favorite former teachers has stage IV leukemia. He is an incredible man with a kind heart, and is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He made learning fun, and we all looked up to him for his wisdom, strength, and kindness. My family and I still often find ourselves talking about how amazing he was as a teacher. He does not deserve to be going through this. It is important for me to show him that all of us kids who have had the pleasure of being his students care, that we are on his side, and are there to support him.
If you would like to help out in joining our mission, I would like to say thank you, first of all. You are not only supporting me and my team and showing us kindness, but are also showing it to all the leukemia and lymphoma fighters and their families. Your generosity and compassion will be making a huge difference. There are many ways to help, whether through making a donation of money or a gift for our silent auction, allowing us to partner up with a company you are involved with, or becoming a team member and helping us fundraise through contacting others and aiding us in organizing fundraising events. Donations can be pledged from January 17th to March 7th, and can be made until June 30th. To keep in touch, you can reach me at 21clee@ga.usmk12.org.
Thank you!
