Just's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Meet the candidates:
"Hi, I'm Grace Carman! I am a Junior at Mukwonago High School and I am 17 years old. I play many sports including soccer, hockey, tennis, and I run track and field. I am also a part of many clubs at school. I am super excited about the campaign; I know our team will do a great job supporting LLS and its mission. I have decided to participate in this campaign this year because cancer has affected my friends and family throughout my life. I am encouraged to help others through this campaign and raise money to help find a cure for cancer. I am very excited to see what our team and I can accomplish this year."

"Hi, I am Ella Carman. I am a sophomore at Mukwonago High School. I'm involved in student government, dance, and golf. There are many reasons why I chose to participate in the Student of the Year campaign again this year. One of my main reasons is because I have seen how cancer has affected my family as my grandpa passed away from it 5 years ago but also I have seen it affect many other families and it hurts me to think of how many people around the world are affected by this disease. Also, I love knowing how many people I have helped and I want to continue helping as many people as I can."

"Hi, I'm Leighton Jeske! I am a junior at Mukwonago High School and I'm 16 years old! I am very involved in my school with tennis, clubs, and musicals! I love connecting with people and helping others and I can't wait to see what our team and I can do during this campaign. I have decided to participate in the Students of the Year campaign with LLS because I want to help as many people as possible affected by cancer. I was able to help in the campaign as a team member last year and I am so excited for the opportunity to co-lead a campaign with my friends this year! I have seen how cancer has affected the lives of my family members, friends, and so many others and I am determined to help in any way I can!"

Just Beat It's Students of the Year Fundraiser
I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?
As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
