Hello! And welcome to my fundraising page. No matter how you've ended up here, I greatly appreciate your interest in not only our campaign but

in joining the fight against blood cancer. 

Today more than a million Americans are fighting a daily battle with blood cancers, and every 4 minutes, another person unwillingly joins the fight. Earlier this year, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) nominated me as a candidate in their inaugural "Student of the Year" fundraising challenge, and I could not be more excited to make a difference in the lives of patients across the country over the next seven weeks. Every dollar we raise will count as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year, and your support would mean the world to me!

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. So I have created a team of committed friends and family to partner with me on this journey. Together, we have set a fundraising goal of $50,000! All the money raised goes directly to the most extensive blood cancer research program in the nation, LLS, to fund cutting-edge research and treatments. In fact, the treatments that LLS is funding benefit non-blood cancer patients too. More than 40% of new cancer treatment drugs approved by the FDA since 2004 started as blood cancer drugs are now being applied in other forms of cancer. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
