Austin's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Help us vote for the G.O.A.T.!  Greatest Of All Time goat picture!  These awesome photographs were taken by 2021 Students of the Year Honored Hero, Lana.  To vote for your favorite photo, simply click on the "Donate Today" button on the left side of the screen.  When you make your donation, include in "Your Message" the number of your favorite.  The winning picture will be framed and displayed with a plaque about Lana at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin!

Lana was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2008 when she was just two years old. Lana’s treatment was standard, and she received chemotherapy intravenously each month and also took daily chemo pills. Even though Lana has few memories of her treatment because she was so little, she does have a great deal of fear towards needles!  Lana is now 15 years old and is in 10th grade at Southwest High School.  She enjoys photography and spending time with family and friends.  She loves the outdoors, including hunting and fishing with her family!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, welcome friends and family!

I have put together a great team in Team CURE-ageous and we have joined together on this journey to raise $50,000 in the fight against cancer! We are up for the challenge but we need your support to reach our goal.

The LLS has a special place in my heart. I lost my grandma, Kathy Worth, to Multiple Myeloma in 2008. I was only four years old at the time. I don't have many memories of her. I was only one when she was diagnosed and four years old when she died. I wish that she could have been a part of my life. It is my hope that no one has to lose out on the love of a grandparent.  It is in her memory that I accepted the challenge.

The Northeast Wisconsin's Student of the Year's honored hero is Lana. She is a SURVIVOR of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Diagnosed at two years old she is now a healthy teenager who enjoys all that life has to offer. Lana will be playing an important part of Team CURE-ageous' fundraising goal. We are SO thankful for her participation. Keep checking our fundraising page to see the exclusive item we have from Lana.

I encourage you to join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. My appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and EVERY dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families.

Please visit my website as often as you can and share it with EVERYONE you know who would also like to join us in the fight against cancer. Together, we have the power, the passion and the resolve to achieve a world without blood cancer. All donations are tax-deductible.

On behalf of cancer patients and their families everywhere, I sincerely thank you for your support!

Austin, even though you don't remember your Grandma Kathy, she is watching over you like a hawk, or maybe an eagle. She was a wonderful Grandma, mother, sister, sister-in-law who was taken way too soon for our liking. Kathy battled multiple myeloma every step of the way. Thank you for doing what you are doing. We've heard that great strides are being made in fighting this type of cancer. Good luck to your team!
