Welcome to team Stronger Together.  Our names are Jack Kornetzke and Alyna Decker.  We are sophomores at Kimberly High School and along with our team members, we are raising funds to help find a cure for cancer.  Our personal goal is $25,000 and we hope to crush it!  Our inspiration is to help kids like Jack’s sister Kate.  She was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.).  Kate is now 11 years old and a healthy 5^th grader who attends Mapleview Intermediate School.  Our other inspiration is a 4-year-old named Portia.  She is also a Kimberly resident who attends 4K.  She will finish up her 2+ years of treatment the week before kick-off!

We are honored to participate as candidates for the 2020 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Each dollar we raise is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

We want to help find a cure and find better treatment options for cancer.  Please help by donating a monetary donation on this page and/or attending one of our events.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
