As students at Fairport High School, we are constantly looking for ways to help others – like Paige, a junior in Penfield, who is currently fighting blood cancer. Paige has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and she is missing all the things we get to do. We have taken on the challenge to help Paige and others like her, by raising as much money as possible to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), as part of its 2022 Students of the Year campaign.

We created a team of committed friends and family to partner with us on this journey. Together, we set a fundraising goal of $20,000! Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. We know that with your help, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.

What inspires us about LLS is that the impact is not just on blood cancers. Cancer in the blood is easiest to study, so this research has actually impacted the entire cancer landscape, including cancers that have a personal impact on us, like breast, lung, bone and melanoma. We're also inspired by the fact that for every dollar raised by LLS, 79 cents goes to research - much more than other charities supporting cancer.
