I have taken on a big challenge to help in the fight against cancer, because like you, cancer has touched my family and affected my friends in devastating ways. I am particularly affected by Paige, who is someone I play soccer against. She is an honor student and a cheerleader too. She is currently fighting blood cancer – non-Hodgkin's lymphoma – and she is missing all the things I get to do. I recently was given the opportunity to do something about it, and I’m hoping you can help.

For seven weeks, from February 5th to March 25th my friends and I will raise as much money as possible to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), as part of its 2022 Students of the Year campaign. What inspires me about LLS is that the impact is not just on blood cancers. Cancer in the blood is easiest to study, so this research has actually impacted the entire cancer landscape, including cancers that have a personal impact on me, like breast, lung, bone and melanoma.

I have created a team of committed friends and family to partner with me on this journey. Together, we have set a fundraising goal of $20,000! My campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I know that with your help, I can reach my goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
