Hi! Welcome to my fundrasing page! I am a freshman at Steilacoom High School. I have been asked to run for Student Of The Year For LLS. My goal is to raise $20,000 in a seven week time period. My campaign is from Feburay 14th to April 3rd. I have a great supportive team on baord and I know we can reach this goal to help fund a cure for cancer. 

Did you know that ever 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. My little sister, Savannah Lingenfelter, was one of them. At the age of 2 and a half she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Then at the age of 7 years old her cancer had came back. Watching a loved one go through a disease like cancer is horrible. Some days I would not know if the treatment was working and hated watching how sick it made her. that day. When her cancer came back I would cry myself to sleep because I did not understand why my sister had to live with having cancer for half her life. Having a better treatment plan for blood cancer and a CURE would just be SO AMAZING. 

 Dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers, we are now The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.

Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
