Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Utah's 2018 Students of the Year Campaign by making a donation. Your support will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

The Students of the Year Campaign is a seven-week initiative in which nominated High School students participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Utah Chapter.  Candidates will raise money in honor of our local teen patient heroes who are currently battling or in remission from a blood cancer.  The candidate who raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks earns the title of "Students of the Year".  The campaign will launch on March 7, 2018 and the amounts raised are TOP SECRET and will culminate with a Grand Finale Celebration on April 28, 2018 where the winner and the final amount will be announced.  The winner of Students of the Year will receive a $2,500 scholarship to the college or university of his/her choice.  In addition, three students will be selected to receive a Citizenship Award (including a $500 scholarship) based on their campaign's commitment to Community Involvement, Leadership, and the LLS Mission. Each student that raises at least $3,000 will receive a Letter of Recommendation.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
