Hi my name is Briella Cenci and i’m participating in the Student Visionaries of the Year with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Every family always thinks of a world with a cure for cancer. My goal by creating a team with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to help get closer to finding that cure. No person should ever have to watch their family member or friend suffer from cancer, or go through it themselves.

The three pillars of that LLS focuses on are patient support, policy and advocacy, and research. I have chosen to focus on policy and advocacy to help cancer patient receive the treatment that is best for them and to help stand up for them when they can’t stand up for themselves.

Every day countless lives are impacted by blood cancer, an illness that requires immediate and ongoing support to fight.
