Hi, my name is Ava Card and I am currently a senior at Scotia-Glenville High School. I joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society last year as part of my close friend's team. That was the first time I had ever heard of LLS and their lifesaving mission, and now I'm proud to call myself a Student Visionary. 

This organization creates a huge and lasting impact in the fight against blood cancer, seeking not only cures but also support and education for patients and their families. I believe that every effort counts, and being part of this organization allows me to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of those affected by these awful diseases. 

My involvement in LLS so far has been a transformative experience for me. Hearing the stories of survivors has opened my eyes to resilience and inspires me to help strive towards a future without blood cancer. I'm grateful to be a part of this mission and hope that together we can foster a community dedicated to making a difference!

• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
