This mission is especially important to me because I have seen the impact of living with blood cancer on the individual, families, and friends. My mothers childhood friend, Mercedes, lost her battle with cancer on February 9, 2023. My neighbor and close friend, Carrie Knowles, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Almost all types of cancer are positively impacted by the innovative research, advocacy, and fundraising efforts of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Now more than ever, we need to take initiative and shine light on this scary and deadly disease. I am fighting for people like Mercedes and Carrie!Will you help me make an impact?
