I am participating this year with Team Just Cure It  in memory of my aunt, Shannon Gleditch. She was a bright light and was loved dearly by those who knew her. She served as a child life specialist and administrator for over 25 years at Texas Children’s Hospital. When I was told she died, I was in tears and shock. It had a huge effect on my family, and we miss her everyday.  I am participating to help prevent other families from going through the same thing and to rid the world of blood cancer.
