This mission is especially important to me because I have witnessed the effects and impacts that blood cancer has had on my family and friends. My grandmother, Joanne Beethe, was in a constant battle with breast cancer. I also know my best friend’s grandmother, Judy Lewis, who has been through many types of cancers and still battles to this day. Also a couple months back, my personal football trainer, and my fathers old trainer, Herschel Johnson, had his life heavily impacted by colon cancer and fought bravely through it all and ended up defeating the battle. All of these cancers have inspired and impacted many research, fundraising, and advocacy programs, including LLS, to sustain a constant helping environment that brings much awareness in order to help those who suffer from cancer. I am fighting for people like my grandmother and Herchel! Will you help me make an impact?
