I am running in honor of my late grandmother Zeta Fry Murray, who passed from leukemia at the young age of 37, when my dad was just nine years old. She fought this horrible disease for 18 months before losing her battle. I can't imagine what it would be like if she had a cure. My father would have grown up with his mom and I would have had the opportunity to know my grandmother.  I am hoping the money raised will prevent other families from losing their battle with leukemia.
