This mission is especially important to me because my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. After two surgeries with difficult recoveries, endless hours spent at appointments with doctors, and being stressed all the time, she beat cancer while I was still in lower school. My hope is for new cures and medications to be discovered, so no one will have to endure all the difficulties that cancer brings on.
