This mission is important to me because I have seen the impact cancer has on my family and friends. My friend's mom, Kristin Kell, has battled cancer in the past and most recently had a recurrence this year. My grandpa, David Greenberg, has battled skin cancer for most of his life. Although neither of these individuals have specifically had blood cancer, their lives and the lives of people they love have been greatly impacted. All these cancers are positively impacted by the innovative research, advocacy and fundraising efforts of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Now more than ever, we need to take initiative and shine light on this scary and deadly disease. I am fighting for people like my grandpa and Mrs. Kell! Will you help me make an impact?
