I am running in honor of my Grandfather, a highly decorated war veteran who beat colon and throat cancer, but ultimately succombed to Large Cell B Lymphoma cancer in 2022. This mission is important to me because I have seen the impact cancer has on loved ones. Now more than ever, we need to take initiative and shine light on this scary and deadly disease. All these cancers are positively impacted by the innovative research, advocacy and fundraising efforts of Leukemia and Lymphoma.
