I am excited and honored to announce that I have been nominated to run for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2022 Students of the Year campaign.

Students of the Year is a seven-week fundraising competition to raise money to support LLS. Amazing progress has already been made, but there is so much more we can do to help! I was nominated by Leigh Anne Raymond, the mother of Charlie Raymond. Charlie passed away at the end of January in 2021 due to leukemia, which is why I am dedicating my campaign in his beloved honor. Charlie holds a special place in my heart, as he radiated happiness and joy throughout his life, even while fighting the hardest battle a human can face.

Live Like Charlie, my fundraising team, and I have great ambitions for this cause. Together, with your help and support, we are looking forward to raising funds for this great organization. Driven by the sadness of our loss of Charlie, substantial changes can be made to the betterment and social awareness of childhood cancer and blood cancer in general. There was no hesitation when accepting this nomination, as I know I can make a difference and continue to support the mission of LLS: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Every dollar raised counts as a vote for me to become the 2021 Student of the Year. I need YOUR help!
