I’m very excited to share with you that I am part of the 2021 Student of the Year campaign and over the next 7 weeks, I will be working to raise money and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their mission to cure blood cancers. 

It’s an honor to be a part of such an outstanding group of fellow students, but an even larger honor to be able to work for the patients, survivors and their families. I am fundraising in honor of our 2021 Honored Hero, Jackson Caserma, who is an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Survivor!! (Pictured below) In 2017, at 3 years old, Jackson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Jackson and his family were hospitalized for 211 days after his diagnosis. In 2020, with the help of LLS, Jackson finished his treatment at 7 years old! He now visits Texas Children’s Hospital twice a month for checkups and bloodwork. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society continues to search for a cure, and supports patients and families every day.  

My team's goal is to raise $50,000 between January 14th and March 5th. It’s a lofty goal, but I am willing to work hard to reach it. I cannot do it alone. If you would like to help, here are a few ways you can support my fundraising efforts:
